ABOUT MICHAEL

Michael is a passionate physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy.


Prior to the completion of this course Michael also completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at La Trobe University majoring in Human Anatomy and Physiology.

Stemming from his extreme love for all sports, Michael’s areas of interest include the treatment of all sports related musculoskeletal injuries along with all the day-to-day issues that limit us from functioning at our best. He utilises a combination of hands on manual therapy and functional rehabilitation to facilitate people of all ages back to their optimal level of function.

​

Michael heads up the logistics and ImPACT concussion processes and programs at Melbourne Sports Concussion Clinic. Michael is the conduit to all athletes, clubs and associations who engage MSCC for both baseline concussion testing and also assisting our team of physiotherapists with their concussion testing systems. Michael links back to ImPACT USA to ensure our testing and rehab systems run seamlessly.

Michael currently plays football for Park Orchards Senior Football Club in the Eastern Football League, which provides an additional layer to his ability to manage and treat sport related injuries.
